Random Picture #81
I'm not sure if this is as funny to others than it is to me, but the name of this product makes me think of some lewd interaction between a boss and secretary during lunch time. For those who are less perverse about what it might me to "take a break on the desk", I will say that it's a zero calorie tea (hence the big zero in the lower left corner) which I'm sure would provide a less than impressive break experience as I've had several of these before and most of them taste like weird Kool-Aid and artificial sweetener. Still, the Bergamot Lime looked interesting, but I've had a bad time with bergamot in Japan so I gave it a pass.
I've had the bergamot lime tea a couple of times and I quite like it, however, I may have a higher tolerance of sweeteners than you do.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the other tea before...I thought the same thing you did when I saw the picture. (grin)
Yeah right, the title is really funny XD
ReplyDeleteLipton ice tea I only know with lemon taste and a few other sorts. Bergamot I've never tried before, but the taste I would like to try.
Helen: I'm remembering the disastrous Tea's Tea orange and bergamot that I had at Shinjuku Gyoen last cherry blossom season. I'm usually not so sensitive to artificial sweeteners, but it was abysmal. Perhaps I should give that a go though.
ReplyDeleteKelis: Lipton makes some really good tea in Japan, but sometimes it just tastes like Kool-aid with sweetener. My favorite is their milk tea.
Thanks to both of you for commenting!
Great name that is typical of Japan which has some cool and funny names for drinks. Break on the desk does remind me of something different :)
